Documents issued by authorities of the Thai relevant authorities need to be authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand (Address: 123 Chaengwatana road, Tungsonghong Laksi, Bangkok) before being legalized by the Embassy of Vietnam so that they can be used in Viet Nam.

Documents issued by authorities of authorities of a third country need to be authenticated by the Embassy of that country. A verbal note need to be sent by that Embassy to the Vietnamese Embassy to introduce the signature of the consular official who certify documents and stamp of the Embassy​. In case no sample of the signature and stamp was introduced by the concerned Embassy, these documents need to be certified by the Department of Consular Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand (Address: 123 Chaengwatana road, Tungsonghong Laksi, Bangkok) before being legalized by the Embassy of Vietnam.

In case documents contain information relating to financial statements, please bring documents to the Consular Department of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand to get them certified, then bring to the Embassy to get them legalised. You need to bring your company’s bank statement of the last 2 months (original and 1 copy) to prove that your company has money deposit at the bank and has positive balance.

Documents issued by Vietnamese authorities need to be authenticated by the Consular Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Viet Nam (40 Trần Phú, Hà Nội) or the Department of External Affairs of Hochiminh City (6 Alexandre De Rhodes, District 1, Hochiminh City) before being legalized by the Embassy of Viet Nam for use in Thailand.
